So I'm currently hard at work on an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice for Self Made Hero, currently up to page 52 of 144. The adaptation is being handled by Ian Edginton who also adapted the Sherlock Holmes series of books.
Here's a first look at the cover for the book.
This book is a massive departure from my usual stuff but I'm loving every minute of it for that very reason. It's good to go outside of your comfort zone every now and again to try and push your style forward. It's also a great opportunity to show that I can handle more subtle material and not just Action / Sci-fi stuff. I think when I eventually come back to my more usual material it will be all the better for the work I'm doing on this book.
This will be the third book I've worked on for Self Made Hero now, after Macbeth and colouring duties on A Tale of Two Cities. The book isn't out until June next year but hopefully I'll be able to post some more pages from it later on down the line.
Yeah I like the Keira version too, although the BBC version is probably more true to the book, I like the sets and costumes from the Keira version. I think the version I'm working on sits somewhere between the two.
VVery good! I would like to see this version ready! The problem is that not everything is released here in Brazil, so there is some difficulty in finding a few titles in our language, or so I have to read in English or even tired of waiting for a publisher to buy the rights and resolve to launch in Portuguese . Mainly because I do not live in Sao Paulo, the country's largest city, where surely I would find it more easily.

This is a good story...
I like the movie version with Keira Knightley...
